UTICA (AP) -- Utica city officials are taking steps to shut down a nightclub that has been the scene of several brawls, including a weekend shooting and stabbing that injured four people.

The latest attacks at Bogie II were early Saturday morning, when two men were stabbed on the nightclub's dance floor. After police cleared the bar, two other patrons were wounded by gunfire in the parking lot while officers were nearby.

All four victims are from the Syracuse area. Police say none of the injuries is life-threatening.

Previous violence at the three-year-old club included a double shooting in August 2008.

City officials say they're frustrated that the State Liquor Authority hasn't revoked the bar's liquor license.

The club's owner says he had taken steps to make the place safer.
