SYRACUSE -- Lots of people crowded into Carousel Center the day after Christmas. Some were looking to spend gift cards. Others were looking for a bargain.
Customers had mixed reviews on the sales in the stores. One customer said she say a lot of buy one get one free offers. Another customer said he didn't see the sales he thought he would so he is holding off making any purchases.
While sale signs were easy to see, customers said it was difficult to find what you want in the stores because many places had picked over inventory. Customer Romyka Rebollo said, "The sizes were hard (to find.) My friend was going to get a different pair of shoes but they didn't have the size he needed"
But if you were lucky enough to find a bargain, then you had to wait in the long check out lines. Some customers said they waited as long as 20 minutes in line.
Traffic to get to the mall earlier on Saturday stretched out onto Route 81, but as the night continues, traffic both outside and inside the mall got much lighter.
