SYRACUSE -- Onondaga County residents will have another chance to protect themselves against the H1N1 "swine flu" virus.

A vaccination clinic will be held January 9 from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Mulroy Civic Center at 421 Montgomery Street in Syracuse.

Appointments are necessary for the free vaccination, which can be made online at www.onflu.net or by telephone at 315-435-5752.

The clinic is open to all Onondaga County residents, though priorities for the vaccination still include:

- Pregnant women

- Caregivers for children younger than six months

- Those under 24 years old, older than six months

- Those 25 to 64 years old, with high risk health conditions
