SYRACUSE -- The Syracuse Police Department found itself the victim of vandals on the city's south side.  Police responded just before three this morning to an alarm at the department's Community Policing trailer 4141 South Salina Street. Officers found the trailer had several broken windows and a police car parked at the site was damaged.

Police spotted two sets of footprints leading away from the scene and saw two teens walking nearby. Police stopped and questioned the teens, and determined they were responsible.  John Coleman, 16, of Syracuse was charged with criminal mischief in the 4th degree, and the other teen, whose name was not released, was charged as a juvenile.
