Firefighters battled flames and cold at an early morning housefire Sunday morning.   More than a half dozen companies were called to a housefire on Route 11 at Orchard Lane and Mondore Drive in Lafayette, just about midnight, with a rekindle at first light.  No injuries are reported, though the house was destroyed.
