Video, art projected on downtown buildings
Syracuse's Urban Video Project is back with new art and videos to display on the 'big screen' of downtown building walls. Jeff Hoone, from Light Works, says the relaunch will be on Thursday, and includes an effort to refresh the offerings regularly--and to attract new artists. The displays are on three buildings: the Onondaga Historical Association (321 Montgomery St), Syracuse Stage (East Genesee St) and the Monroe Building (333 East Onondaga St), and will run nightly Thursday - Sunday, dusk to 11pm. The Light Works - Connective Corridor collaborative is designed to attract more visitors to the downtown Syracuse area.
