NORTH OSCEOLA, LEWIS CO. -- A serious snowmobile accident is under investigation by the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies say Gregory Muratore of Rochester was ejected off his snowmobile after riding over a series of moguls on Potter Road in North Osceola Saturday afternoon.
Muratore was then struck by a snowmobile driven by Michael Perry of Webster. Muratore was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital with serious injuries.
Perry was taken to Crouse Irving Hospital. The accident is still under investigation.
