Fayette/Salina transfers to move
CENTRO holds a public information session on Wednesday to preview plans for its new downtown bus hub. Frank Kobliski, executive director of the CNY Regional Transportation Authority, says the Red Cross Blood Donor Center will move from its building across from Central Tech the end of next month, and the two buildings in that block will be razed to make way for the new bus transfer terminal, which will be covered and will include an indoor, climate-controlled waiting room. Plans will be presented at the Galleries Library Curtin Auditorium on Wednesday, 2 - 6pm. Kobliski says the plans are pretty firm but 'they haven't poured concrete yet' so if there's a good suggestion there's still time for it to be incorporated. For more: http://centro.org
