WESTMORELAND, ONEIDA CO. -- The Oneida County Sheriff’s Department says five men were charged with Criminal Mischief and Disorderly Conduct after a fight in the Nice N Easy in Westmoreland.

Deputies responded to the call of a fight at the store and found three men bleeding. Deputies found a knife and learned that one of the men was cut by that knife. They also determined that two of the men had been hit over the head with a pool cue.

The injured men did not pursue assault charges, but all five were charged because of the damage caused to merchandise and property inside the Nice N Easy during the fight.

Arrested were 19-year old Hardy Hodges of Grand Ave., Syracuse, 19-year old Paul T. McGough of Parkway in Syracuse, 22-year old Timothy S. Miller of Shanty Creek Road, Central Square, 23-year old Earle L. Sauerhafer and 19-year old Matthew Sauerhafer of Ostrander Road Verona. They were issued appearance tickets to Westmoreland Town Court at later dates.
