Battery change time, too!
Clocks moved an hour ahead overnight on Sunday, and with the switch to daylight savings time, there's the seasonal reminder to change batteries, not only in smoke detectors but now also in carbon monoxide detectors. Gordon Kotars from the Firemen's Association of the State of New York also demonstrated the varieties of safety devices, including combination detectors, and some which do not need the seasonal battery changes.
