SYRACUSE -- Syracuse police say a boy who had been reported missing has returned home on his own and is safe.

EARLIER VERSION:

The Syracuse Police department is looking for a 12 year old boy who has been missing since Friday. Police say Najee Everson, 12, left his fathers house on Dudley St. to walk to his mother's home on S. Geddes St. Friday night around 5pm. Everson never showed up. Everson's mother didn't realize her son was coming over until she spoke to his father Saturday morning.

Everson is described as a light skinned black male, 5'7" tall, 140 lbs, black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white windbreaker, blue jeans shorts and light blue crocs shoes. He has a blue cast on his right arm.

Everson's family says he has not contacted any friends, relatives or his parents over the weekend. He is diagnosed as being bi-polar and suffers from ADHD.

Anyone with any information on Najee Everson's whereabouts should call the Syracuse Police Department at 315-442-5222.
