SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police held a news conference Friday morning to discuss details of a double-shooting which took place late Thursday night.
According to Police Chief Frank Fowler, two men were either inside or standing near a car on the 400 block of Ellis Street when another car pulled up and opened fire. Both men were struck by the gunfire. The vehicle then drove away.
The victims have been identified as 21-year-old Richardo Davis and 18-year-old Tyron Mulligan, both of Syracuse. Davis is currently on life support in extremely critical condition at Upstate University Hospital after receiving multiple gunshot wounds.
Mulligan received a single gunshot wound, and was trated and released from Upstate.
Police are talking to Mulligan to get more information on what happened.
Shortly after the shootings, a second car pulled up and took both victims to Upstate Hospital.
