NEDROW, TOWN OF ONONDAGA -- Six fire departments responded to the fire at 205 East Roswell Ave in Nedrow around 10:40 Sunday morning. The Nedrow, Sentinel Heights, Taunton, Marcellus and Southwood Fire Departments as well as an Onondaga Nation truck were all on the scene.

A fire chief  told CNY Central that one man in the house was taken to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation. The chief says it is believed that the fire started in the living room area of the home, but fire investigators on the scene have not yet confirmed that. It took about 15 minutes to get the fire under control .
