Tffany's Walk, which benefits the CNY chapter of Make-A-WIsh, is coming up on Saturday, May 1, with a difference this year:  pet dogs are being invited to join their human walkers at Long Branch Park.  Mary Jo Heitkamp-France, the walk coordinator who joined us along with her dog Grace, says it not only made sense for the dogs' owners, but also for the many Wish children and families who come to the event, who cannot have a dog of their own but can get some pet loving in, for the day.  Heitcamp-France says the dogs must be leashed and friendly with other dogs or children. There is no registration fee for the 1 mile or 5k walk, but all pledge money raised goes to the Make-a-WIsh effort to fund requests by seriously ill children.
