SYRACUSE -- A driver going the wrong way is being blamed for two crashes.
Syracuse Police say a Dashawn Leggett of New York City was apparently following directions from his GPS last night when he ended up going the wrong way on the 690 west exit ramp. Police say Leggett crashed into a guard rail. He suffered a broken leg and a passenger in his Chevy Tahoe suffered a head laceration.
A person driving a Volvo trying to avoid Leggett’s vehicle crashed into a cement barrier. The driver and two passengers had minor injuries.
Leggett was ticketed for driving the wrong way on a one way street.
