Police investigate convenience store robbery

FULTON, OSWEGO CO. -- Police in Fulton are investigating the robbery of a convenience store early Wednesday morning.

According Fulton Police, officers were called to the Byrne Dairy on Emery Street at around 3:30 a.m. for a report of a robbery. Police say the suspect verbally threatened the store clerk with a weapon, though none was displayed, and fled on foot with store merchandise.

Police describe the suspect as a white male approximately 5’6” tall. He was wearing a bandana over his face, a gray baseball cap, black shorts, and a gray and blue hooded sweatshirt (“hoodie”) with a zippered front. Click on the attached slideshow for photos from the store's surveillance system.
