ORISKANY FALLS -- State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Oneida arrested 38 year-old, J.H. Waterman, from 4331 Alabam Road in Oriskany Falls, NY for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 2nd degree, a class"C" felony.
State Police were alerted to possible stolen property located behind Waterman's residence on Alabam Road in Madison County. Friday afternoon, State Police Investigators executed a search warrant on the property and located several items that were reported stolen from businesses in Madison and Chenango Counties.
Items that were recovered and returned to the owner included:
2003 26ft. Surveyor Camping Trailor
2008 14ft. Dump Trailor - stolen from Tantivy Trailor Sales in Vernon
2010 35ft. Coyote Trailor - stolen from Tantivy Trailor Sales in Vernon
John Deere Gator - stolen from the Norwich Area
2006 John Deere 450j Bulldozer - stolen from Chenango County
Set of Black Pallet Forks - stolen from Whites Farm Supply
Items that were recovered and have not been identified include:
3 Shindawa Weed Eater's - model # M231
2 Shindawa Tree Trimmers - model # 242
Kubota 2d21 diesel mower
Kubota HST L5030 Tractor
Kubota RTV 4-Wheeler
Total amount of the stolen property is valued to be over $100,000. Waterman was arraigned in Town of Madison Court and was remanded to the Madison County Jail without bail.
The State Police Aviation Unit assisted in the investigation along with the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, Chenango County Sheriff's Office, and the Madison County Highway Department.
