Explosion in Cayuga County was controlled

CAYUGA COUNTY -- Cayuga County 911 dispatchers say an explosion in Owasco Monday evening was controlled.

The Onondaga County bomb squad conducted a controlled detonation of an explosive device around 6pm.

CNYcentral received one report from a viewer saying they felt the explosion from more than a mile away.
