It's easy to take for granted just how beautiful so many of our state parks are here in Central New York.
But with parks closing and no employees to maintain the park, the pristine beauty we're used to seeing could be in danger.
One local group is making sure that won't happen.
The Council of Park Friends recruited volunteers this week to maintain Clark Reservation in Jamesville. Volunteers will mow the grass, pick up litter and clean the bathrooms while the park is shut down.
The group says they recruited about 20 volunteers and plan to start putting those people to work as soon as possible.
