SYRACUSE -- The Syracuse Department of Public Works will begin a milling and paving project Wednesday, June 9 on Salt Springs Road from East Genesee Street to Seeley Road. Traffic detours will be set up, as necessary, while this road is under construction. To minimize detours, Salt Springs Road will be closed in sections; first, from Genesee Street to East Avenue and then from East Avenue to Seeley Avenue. Construction is expected to last two to three weeks.
