Golf tournament, dinner on Thursday
Brain injury can affect anyone, but with better medical care, the patient can live--and need treatment--for years. Laura Serway, an NBC-3 employee whose brother has a head injury after a car crash, is one of many family members who takes care of her relative---there's also a Brain Injury Association which helps fund programs that help, long term.
The group sponsors a golf tournament--its fifth annual--at Turning Stone this Thursday. If you don't golf, there's also a dinner.
