TOWN OF NELSON, MADISON COUNTY -- State Police in Morrisville are investigating an apparent fatal agricultural accident at 2475 Fenner Rd, Town of Nelson, Madison County.
The deceased Gordon A. Bowers, age 83, was last observed at approximately 11:00 AM this morning operating an International Harvester tractor towing a rake in a field approximately 600 feet north of his residence. Mr. Bowers was found by a family member on his back trapped under the tractor's left side rear tire with the tractor still running. There are no signs of foul play.
Madison County Coroner Liz Healy removed the deceased to the Onondaga County Medical Examiners Office for autopsy. Investigation is continuing pending autopsy.
