A fuel spill has shut down the right eastbound lane of the Thruway between exits 33 (Verona, Rome, Oneida, NY Route 365) and 34 (Canastota, Oneida, Chittenango, NY Route 13).
State police say the crash involves a tractor trailer and that it was only a minor accident. Right now, there's diesel fuel spilling from the truck. Police expect to have the spill cleaned up shortly. But for now, it may be causing traffic back-ups along that portion of the Thruway between exits 33 and 34.
