SeekSyracuse offers riddles, photo contest

Syracuse's Landmark Theatre is one of the 12 historic buildings that are riddle solutions

With Arts Week coming up, the City of Syracuse, the Everson Museum and the Onondaga Historical Association have an interactive public art project that also teaches Syracuse History. Steven Kern, Everson Director, says there are 12 riddles that identify a dozen historic downtown buildings. Once participants identify the building, they need to look for architectural features that make the letters to spell Syracuse. Take a picture, and the submissions will all be displayed at City Hall Commons Atrium next weekend, with thee best to be featured as banners on the city website. Winners will also get posters of their entries.
Deadline for pictures is Wednesday (July 28) at 5pm.
