ROME, ONEIDA CO. -- State Police are investigating a fatal head-on crash between a car and a motorcycle.
State Police say Hope Peck, 34-years-old, failed to yield the right of way Thursday afternoon to motorcyclist David Page, 56-years-old. Police say Peck was trying to turn onto Rome-New London Road when she crashed into Page's motorcycle.
Police say Page was taken to Rome City Hospital, where he later died. They say Peck was not hurt in the crash. She's now ticketed for failing to yield.
