But there is more to the annual list from the Princeton Review
And the winner for the nation's top party school, if you consider this a prize, is the University of Georgia.
The Princeton Review is out with its annual rankings of the nation's colleges and universities. While it evaluates a schools academic programs, financial aid, housing and other issues important in choosing a college, it also ranks various components of a school's social life. That's the ranking that usually garners the headlines.
Georgia is ranked the country's No. 1 party school on its now infamous annual list. The Athens campus has been on the list ten times since the ranking was created in 1992, but this is the first time the university has taken the top spot.
University spokesman Tom Jackson said the list is not one the school with an enrollment of about 30,000 wants to lead.
Georgia beat out Pennsylvania State University, West Virginia University and University of Florida, which were the top party schools over the last three years.
The ranking is based on voluntary e-mail surveys of 122,000 students at more than 370 colleges across the country.
Meanwhile, if you want to find out where the school you may send you child and your money ranks in many other important areas, including SU and Cornell, we have provided a link to the Princeton Review's comprehensive review.
