The National Child Safety Council is warning parents about a craze called "ghost riding."
The Council calls it a "modern-day form of car surfing popular in the 1980's where teens try to emulate car stunts. Recent videos on You Tube show teens putting a vehicle in neutral or drive, getting out, and dancing to a type of "ghost buster" theme as the vehicle rolls down the street.
The Child Safety Council claims ghost-riding "turns the vehicle into an uncontrollable missile, creating dangers from running into trees and poles to other vehicles and even innocent bystanders.
