Make your voice heard: Get ready to vote

If you want to vote in next month’s primary elections, you’re running out of time to get ready.

The Onondaga County Board of Elections is reminding people of the upcoming deadlines. Voter registration applications must be postmarked by August 20th – one week from today.

Eligible voters who are physically unable to vote, or will not be in town, can apply for an absentee ballot. To apply for one by mail, it must be postmarked by September 7th. You can apply in person at the Onondaga County Board of Elections until 5pm on September 13th.

Primary Day is September 14th. You will only be able to vote for candidates in your registered party.
