EAST SYRACUSE -- The Kinney Drugs Foundation is hosting its 3rd Annual Central New York Charity Event Tuesday, September 14th at the Links at Erie Village in East Syracuse. The star of the golf event is Hall of Fame baseball pitcher Goose Gossage. Gossage pitched in the major leagues for parts of 22 seasons including the glory years of the New York Yankees. Gossage will sign autographs and take photos with those attending the golf outing.
The charity event is scheduled to host morning and afternoon shotgun starts. The dinner is immediately following the afternoon flight at Traditions at the Links at Erie Village. The donation for a foursome in the tournament is $1600. There are various sponsorship levels available.
Since 2002, the Kinney Drugs Foundation has donated more than $4 million dollars to nonprofit organizations in Northern, Central and Western New York and Vermont.
