SYRACUSE -- A Pop Warner football game was cancelled at halftime last night after shots were fired at Kirk Park.

No one was injured.

Syracuse police say it happened shortly before 5 pm Saturday.  Police say they recovered a handgun from the bushes on the west side of the park.

Police have a 15-year-old suspect in custody this morning.  He was spotted running from the scene by an off-duty officer and identified by witnesses at the scene.  Police say he later confessed to being involved in the incident.

Police are still searching for a second suspect, described as a black male wearing a white shirt and black pants.

If you witnessed the shots fired or have video of it, police ask you to call them at 442-5222.
