'They can't stop me!" walk-run set for Saturday

Walk-run will raise scholarship money in memory of longtime NBC-3 anchor Jerry Barsha

The family of longtime NBC3 Weekend Anchor and investigative reporter Jerry Barsha is staging its first major fundraiser for his scholarship foundation: a walk-run. Debra Barsha says her father's foundation funds an electronic media scholarship at Onondaga Community College, where Barsha also taught for many years.
The walk-run is next Saturday morning on the Erie Canal in Dewitt. The event starts at 9am, with registration beforehand, and among the 'prizes' for participating: tickets to the broadway musical 'Jersey Boys' (Debra Barsha is on the musical staff).
