OSWEGO -- Oswego police are investigating a suspicious fire. The flames broke out around 5:23pm Monday at 211 East 8th Street.

When they arrived on the scene, fire crews found a small fire in the lower apartment of a two-story home. The flames were quickly knocked down with minor fire and smoke damage left behind. No one was hurt.

Investigators are now trying to figure out the circumstances surrounding the fire and what caused it, but authorities say it looks suspicious.

If you have any information about the fire, call Oswego Police at (315) 343-1212. All calls will be kept confidential.
