PHOENIX -- The Oswego County Sherriff's office has been following up on tips calls as they continue their investigastion into yesterday's home invasion in phoenix.
It was a frightening day for many in the village of Phoenix as residents were evacuated from their homes and schools were in lockdown for part of the day.
Oswego County Sheriff, Ruel Todd, says the fact that schools were in proximity of the shots fired call made officers hurry even more to secure the scene.
Sheriff Todd says incidents like this hurt the community...and this type of behavior has to change.
