ELBRIDGE -- Parents in the Jordan-Elbridge School District are seeking answers tonight, nearly a week after J-E High School principal David Zehner was replaced without explanation.
There will be a meeting tonight at the Elbridge Fire Station on Route 5. It starts at 6 pm.

JORDAN -- Jordan-Elbridge High School has replaced principal David Zehner, though the district will not say why or for how long.
Jordan Elbridge Superintendent Marilyn Dominick confirmed that Zehner left the position Monday, though she said told CNY Central she was not able to give further details. "Because he is an employee, I am limited in what I'm able to talk about, I really can't talk about it, or say what it is about," she said.
Dominick announced Zehner's departure in a letter sent home to parents on Monday. The letter states that Zehner "will not be with us for an extended period of time."
Zehner, a former math teacher, has been a principal for four years and an assistant principal for 8 years. The letter states that Associate High School Principal Mary Thomas-Madonna, will serve as interim principal.
In her letter to parents, Dominick reassures them the changes will not impact education at the high school. "The Board of Education and I are confident that we will be able to continue the school year with no disruption in our programs or education to our students," Dominick said in this letter to parents.
David Zehner was not available for comment.
