Another Fort Drum soldier has been killed in the war zone.
Private First Class Clinton Springer II, 24, died on Friday, September 24th in Kabul, Afghanistan. Fort Drum says the cause of death is still under investigation.
Pfc. Springer was from Sanford Maine. He joined the Army in March of last year, and arrived at Fort Drum a few months later. This was his first deployment.
Pfc. Springer is survived by his mother and father.
