WARNERS -- New York State Police say a service area west of Syracuse is back open after a crash shut down the area for 4 hours on Wednesday.
Police say a tractor trailer car carrier was traveling westbound on Interstate 90 when the driver suddenly changed langes to try and pull into the Warners service plaza. When the tractor trailer pulled into the entrance lane, two dump trucks, one heading eastbound and one going westbound, were crossing over the same lane. All three crashed into one another.
One of the trucks was carrying wet concrete and spilled it all over the highway. A white Lexus also fell off the car carrier at the moment of impact and fell to the ground.
All three drivers suffered minor injuries and are expected to be OK. No other vehicles were involved and no other injuries were reported
Police say the driver of the tractor trailer was cited for Moving From Lane Unsafely and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree.
State Police are continuing their investigation.
