Although we haven’t seen any snow around here yet, Sunday River ski area in western Maine just fired up their snow guns for the first time this season this past Monday. Sunday River, who is a client of my private weather company, Precision Weather Service is typically neck-and-neck with Killington in Vermont for who makes snow first each season…or who tries to make snow first. These two resorts are also typically the last resorts to close each Spring.
Despite these resorts, and many resorts already thinking about winter, many of these ski areas already have a ton of fun things going on from Fall festivals to craft shows to ski sales. Last week I told you about several events taking place at their resorts, and the rest of this week, I have more for you. Here are the first ones…
