Did you get a flu shot yet? Clinics offered in CNY

The Cayuga County Health Department is holding the first of three scheduled flu and pneumonia vaccination clinics on Friday.

You can get vaccinated from 1pm-3pm at St. Patrick's Church. It's located at 2576 Mechanic Street in Cato. The Health Department will also hold clinics on October 13 and October 23 at the Finger Lakes Mall in Auburn. Both start at 9am and go until 1pm.

Cayuga County residents are encouraged to schedule an appointment online. Click here to schedule an appointment. You can also call the Health Department at 315-253-1560. 

Clinics are for adults ages 18 and over. 

The flu vaccination is free if you have Medicare Part B and bring your card to the clinic. Those who do not have Medicare Part B will be charged $30 for a flu shot. There is a limited number of free pneumococcal vaccine available to individuals. Once the supply is gone, it will cost you $45.
