CAZENOVIA -- As the leaves change to shades of red and orange, many businesses in Cazenovia are seeing more green.
"Summer is usually our busiest season, but this year fall has really carried on and it's just as busy now as it was in July," said Valerie Barr with Brae Loch Inn.
Hotel bookings are up 20 percent at the Brae Loch Inn. The restaurant has been busy too.
Businesses in Madison County say mother nature deserves some credit. "We've been very lucky this fall because the weekends have been very nice weather," said Juanita Critz of Critz Farms.
"The fall weather is beautiful, the countryside is just gorgeous and the sunshine out like this is just great. The scenery is gorgeous here and you drive anywhere and you just enjoy the trees," said Jack Dudrick from Scranton, Pennsylvania.
"We just came up here because the weather is really nice today. I love picking out pumpkins, and carving pumpkins. I think fall is my favorite season," said Emma Durdick.
Critz Farms sees the most visitors this time of year, and is bracing for a big holiday weekend. "We're expecting record crowds, with sunny weather predicted for all 3 days. Everyone will come out, and it's a big weekend for folks to travel," said Critz.
A welcomed boost for businesses that are ready to rake in fall profits.
