SYRACUSE -- Syracuse Police are investigating a shooting Wednesday evening.
Witnesses tell police that around 7:40 p.m. several people were were on the porch of a house on Bellevue Avenue. They say a vehicle drove past, and gunfire was exchanged between the people on the porch and those in the vehicle.
Police found six bullet holes in a nearby house, and eleven shell casings near 331 Bellevue Avenue.
Witnesses describe the suspects as three black males, one wearing a light colored hooded sweatshirt with horizontal stripes and the other two wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts. They were last seen running down Hudson Street. No description was given of the vehicle involved.
Police say no one was injured in the incident.
