TOWN OF CLAY -- One person was transported to University Hospital today with smoke inhalation following a fire in a laundry room at the Norstar Apartments off of Henry Clay Boulevard in the Town of Clay. Firefighters report the fire was relatively small and confined to a dryer, but generated a lot of smoke. The call came in around ten this morning. Once responding units were able to locate the source of the smoke they were able to extinguish it quickly.
