MANLIUS -- Onondaga County Water Authority officials say a water main break in Manlius has been fixed.

The break happened on East Seneca Street between Mill and Washington Streets.

Officials have not said whether they will issue a boil water advisory.

Earlier coverage:

A water main break left some people in Manlius without water pressure for awhile on Friday night.

Manlius Police say the break started just before nine o'clock on East Seneca Street between Mill Street and Washington Street. The water main was leaking in multiple spots.

The Onondaga County Water Authority shut off the water to help fix the break, but some homes in the area had water pressure back within two hours.

The situation did cause a driving hazard for a little while when water was leaking onto the road, but that cleared up once the water was shut off.
