DEWITT -- A new clothing store opened Thursday in DeWitt where women can buy well-known brands for less.

Clothes Mentor is a resale chain. Shoppers can sell clothes they have owned or buy clothes someone else has owned. The store is located on Erie Boulevard between Thompson Road and Bridge Street. There are brands like Ann Taylor, Coach and Chicos.

In addition to clothes there are shoes and accessories. Co-Owner Joseph Giannuzzi says they are 70-percent off the original price. He said "there's an opportunity for ladies to get into labels that they just wouldn't normally buy."

Shoppers were out looking for a deal.

"I think it's fantastic," Anita Harding, a shopper said. "I like to shop these stores and it offers so much for people that want to get good quality at a lower price that's fabulous."

There's an opportunity for women to clean out their closets too. In order to sell your items to the store, they had to have been purchased in the past two years. You get cash in return.
