UTICA -- A drug bust in Utica leads police to an apartment at a local restaurant and ends in the arrest of the restaurant owner.

It happened November 3rd at 893 Bleecker Street at Johnny Diamond's restaurant and the second floor apartment above the restaurant. Investigators say narcotics were being sold from both locations. Authorities say they found drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the apartment and the restaurant.

John Boyd, 37, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal uses of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was the restaurant owner and lived in the apartment where the drug bust happened.
