SYRACUSE -- If you missed your favorite television show, you'll now be able to rewind time. Time Warner Cable customers will now have access to something called Look Back. Digital cable customers will be able to go back up to three days to watch shows they missed.

It's a free feature that gives digital customers the ability to watch those missed shows without having set their DVR to record them. The Look Back service will launch with 48 channels (24 of them in HD).

"Look Back gives customers the ability to further time-shift and achieve more control over the programming they want to watch," said Melinda Witmer, Executive Vice President and Chief Programming Officer for Time Warner Cable. "There is no need to set a DVR and no worries about getting special equipment. Look Back is easy, fast and simple for all of us with busy schedules."

It wasn't long ago that the cable company launched the Start Over feature, giving viewers the ability to restart a show already in progress.
