SYRACUSE -- This week's My School takes us to H.W. Smith Elementary School on Syracuse’s east side, where we met the Rota-Kids Club.
The Rota-Kids are an extension of the Eastwood Rotary and are working their hardest to better their community and the world. There was an emphasis on the "world" part of that at Monday's meeting, as the school features students from 40 different nations! They are raising money to help vaccinate villages in Africa among many other admirable efforts. They're raising a lot of their money through bottles and cans donated by City Hall.
