FULTON -- An Oswego County man is under arrest after police say he stole electronics and a benefit card last month.

According to the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested 23-year-old Michael J. Sanderson of West 11th Street in Fulton on Tuesday and charged him with felony criminal possession of stolen property and misdemeanor petit larceny. Police say Sanderson was in possession of another person’s public benefit card and used it to make purchases at a Town of Granby business.

While police had Sanderson in custody, they also arrested him for felony second degree burglary and petit larceny after the say he stole a video game system, laptop computer, and an iPod Touch from a residence in Granby in October 2010.

Sanderson was arraigned on all charges in the Town of Hannibal Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility without bail. He is scheduled to return to Granby Town Court on November 15 to answer the charges.
