A Syracuse man is facing federal drug and weapons charges in connection with a murder that was caught on tape.

Federal prosecutors say 21-year-old Derek Williams arranged a drug robbery that ended in murder. Shakeem Moore, 17, is charged with second degree murder in the shooting death of Tavorn Hunter in October. Prosecutors say Williams ordered marijuana from Hunter, then arranged to have Moore steal it. During that robbery, Moore and Hunter got into a struggle over a gun. Police say Moore shot Hunter. A surveillance camera at a nearby market caught the entire scene.

Williams could face life in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 if he's convicted.
