Benefit will fund outreach programs

Syracuse's MOYA--The Museum of Young Art---is fundraising to expand its art programming for area children.

Susan Fix, a Liverpool District art teacher who also is MOYA's executive director, says the Lincoln Center  (110 West Fayette St)
display space showcases work of area students, but also provides studio space for them to explore different art mediums.

The Holiday HeARTS event, set for this Friday evening, includes a cocktail and hors d'oevre reception, and a silent auction with works contributed by 40 of Central New York's leading adult artists.  It's Friday, December 3, 5 - 9pm, and for ticket information you can check MOYA's website or call 876-0083
