Former Henninger High school star athlete Kihary Blue will be laid to rest today.
Calling hours are from 10 A.M to 1 P.M. at the Greater New Testament Missionary Baptist Church. The burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Blue, 19, was shot on November 26th and died days later from gunshot wounds at University Hospital.
Police say the shooting was gang related, though Blue was not a gang member.
Blue was a star quarterback and point guard at Henninger before graduating in 2009.
There is a strong police presence at the church.
